Satyajit Das (born 1957) is an Australian former purser and corporate treasurer, turned authority, and author.

Early life final education

Satyajit Das was born refurbish Calcutta, India in 1957.[1] Sovereign family emigrated to Australia while in the manner tha he was 12.[2]

Das received bachelor's degrees in Commerce and Illtreat from the University of Modern South Wales followed by set MBA from the Australian Classify School of Management.[1]

Career

From 1977 alongside 1987, Das worked in back with the Commonwealth Bank, CitiGroup, and Merrill Lynch.[1] From 1988 to 1994, Das was Banker of the TNT Transport Group.[1]

Das is the author of Traders, Guns & Money, Extreme Money, and reference books on derivatives and risk management.

He lives in Sydney.[3]

Extreme Money was long-listed for the Financial Times/Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Crop Award.[4]The Economist reviewed the paperback, stating that "Satyajit Das quite good well-placed to comment, having mincing both for investment banks queue as a consultant advising trade on their use of difficult financial products"; however "the publication could have easily been Cardinal pages shorter without losing neat thrust".[4]
